SMS Consent & Communications Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Who we are

This program is operated by NFORSAI LLC (doing business as nfors.ai), a parking-enforcement software platform that parking-lot operators license to manage their lots. We send SMS only to an operator’s own staff — field enforcement agents and their supervisors. We never send marketing, promotional, or commercial messages, and we never message parkers or the general public.

Program: Operational Shift Digests & Alerts

Enrolled staff receive low-volume, strictly operational text messages about their enforcement work. There are two message types:

  1. Daily shift digest (agents) — a once-per-day end-of-shift summary of the agent’s prior-day activity (violations issued versus their own baseline, lot coverage, lots missed).
  2. Queue alerts (supervisors) — an alert when enforcement-queue items remain unattended past a threshold the operator sets.

Message frequency: approximately one message per enrolled agent per working day, plus occasional supervisor alerts. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in (consent flow)

SMS is off by default. Agents can use the first-party confirmation flow below, or an operator or supervisor can enable daily shift digests for their agents through the management portal. Queue alerts use a separate recipient confirmation flow.

Workflow 1 — Daily shift digest (agents)

  1. A field agent opens the nfors.ai app and goes to their Account screen, which shows the full disclosure: from nfors.ai, about one message per working day, “Message and data rates may apply”, “Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel”, and a link to this policy. The agent then taps “Text me a confirmation.”
  2. We send a single confirmation text: “nfors.ai: Reply YES to receive daily shift digests + queue alerts (~1 msg/day). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
  3. This self-service enrollment completes when the agent replies YES to that confirmation. We record the date of opt-in and the consent language shown.

Enrollment by your team: an operator or supervisor can open Team → agent → Notifications and select Enable SMS digest. This enables the next scheduled daily digest without a confirmation text or YES reply. We record who enabled it and when, separately from any recipient confirmation. You can reply STOP or disable SMS in the app. Your team cannot override a recorded opt-out; you must confirm SMS again yourself.

Workflow 2 — Queue alerts (supervisors)

  1. An operator opens Settings → Enforcement and, in the “Grace-period queue — SMS escalation” card, enters the on-call mobile number. That card shows the full disclosure: nfors.ai operational queue alerts, sent only when a queue entry sits unattended past the operator’s threshold (message frequency varies), “Message and data rates may apply”, “Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel”, and a link to this policy. Only the holder of that number can complete the opt-in.
  2. We send a single confirmation text: “nfors.ai: Reply YES to receive parking enforcement queue alerts (msg frequency varies). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
  3. No alerts are sent unless that number replies YES to that confirmation. We record the date of opt-in and the consent language shown.

Sample messages

Maria, yesterday you issued 14 violations — a 22% increase vs your Tue baseline (11.5). 27 plates checked. 38 zone check-ins across 6/7 lots. Coverage 91%. Missed 1 lot: West Garage. Reply STOP to opt out.
nfors.ai · 3 unattended queue entries in Crystal Tower (>60 min): FL ABC1234 (West Garage), AL 7XYZ89 (Level 2 Deck). Reply STOP to opt out.

Opt out & help

  • Reply STOP to any nfors.ai message to stop all digests and alerts immediately. You can also turn SMS off from your Account screen in the app.
  • Reply START to resume, or HELP for support information.
  • For help you can also email support@nfors.ai.

Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. nfors.ai does not charge recipients for SMS.

Sign-in verification codes

Separately from the program above, when staff sign in by phone we text a one-time verification code to that number. By entering your phone number on a sign-in screen and requesting a code, you consent to receive that transactional message; frequency is typically one message per sign-in attempt.

Privacy

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected by nfors.ai are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose mobile numbers only to the messaging carriers and service providers (e.g., Twilio) strictly necessary to deliver these messages. See our Privacy Policy for complete data-handling details.
